This is to remove tartar and plaque and ensure the teeth are cleaned for the best bleaching results possible. For 24 hours after your teeth whitening procedure, avoid drinking dark beverages like red wine, coffee, tea, and colored soft drinks. Highly pigmented foods like berries should not be eaten. Sensitivity is normal, and can last from a few days to 1-2 weeks. Some patients may receive Zoom whitening at-home touch-up kits if necessary.

For 24 hours after your whitening procedure avoid drinking beverages like red wine, coffee, and tea. Highly colored foods like berries should not be eaten immediately following bleaching. It is normal to experience some tooth sensitivity following a professional whitening treatment. Depending on your results and long-term teeth whitening goals, you may also be sent home from your visit with an at-home whitening kit for later use.
